In January 2026, Cooperative Aid traveled to India to host a sewing workshop that gave women the skills and resources to earn an income for themselves and their families. Sixteen women completed the program and each received a sewing machine so they could begin making and selling garments.
For many of the participants, this was an opportunity to build a more stable future. With their new skills and equipment, they can earn an income from home, support their households, and contribute to their local communities. The workshop is one example of Cooperative Aid’s commitment to creating opportunities that have a lasting impact long after the training ends.
